London Lego Workshop

At the beginning of the week, the girls were treated to a London Lego workshop.

The girls were able to choose a London Landmark and then build their own version of it, making it more colourful or eco-friendly if they wanted. The girls then added their landmark to the map of London. Their final product definitely looked a lot more colourful than the current London landscape!

School Trip to the London Eye

To bring their Autumn Term topic to life, Year 2 went on a River Thames cruise followed by a flight on the London Eye so that the girls could experience the landmarks of our wonderful city first-hand.

There were lots of whoops of delight as they spotted the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and the Shard.

At 443 feet high, the London Eye is currently the fourth-largest Ferris wheel in the world, and the Year 2 girls were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of this wonderful landmark.

‘My favourite part of the trip was seeing the shard, it was amazing.’
