In our most recent inspection in 2026, under the reformed ISI Framework 2023, Kensington Prep School met every standard across all five areas of inspection.
Most notably, the school received a Significant Strength, for the sophistication and impact of its leadership’s use of data, research and evaluation to support and accelerate pupils’ progress. The inspection report highlights can be viewed below, with the full ISI Report available here.
Children and pupils make good and often rapid progress in their learning, and they engage thoughtfully with their learning as a result of the classroom strategies employed by their teachers.

Regulatory Compliance Inspection – June 2018
As part of the usual inspection regime of the Independent Schools Inspectorate, Inspectors visited the school in June 2018 to conduct a ‘Regulatory Compliance Inspection.’ There is only a pass or fail grade and we are delighted that the school successfully passed.
