Changemakers’ Ramadan Assembly
To help the whole school learn about Ramadan, our Year 5 Changemakers researched, created and presented an assembly to Reception to Year 6.
To help their understanding, the Changemakers interviewed Ms Dahmani and asked questions about what Ramadan means to her, why she fasts, how difficult it is and if there are any traditions or practices linked to Ramadan. Ms Dahmani gave in-depth, personal answers and from this interview, the Year 5 girls put together their presentation.
In addition, a selection of Year 4 and Year 5 girls were also asked what Ramadan means to them. Exhibiting thoughtfulness and curiosity, the Changemakers confidently delivered to the school and gave a massive thank you to Ms Dahmani for all her time and assistance.
