Happy Lunar New Year!

Happy Lunar New Year!

Throughout the last week of term, the girls celebrated Lunar New Year with a number of different activities.

Reception and Year 1 had a fantastic time making their own Lunar New Year paper dragons. Thank you to the parents who led this activity for the girls.

Two of our Year 4 girls presented a special dance to their classmates. Wearing traditional clothing, the girls performed the ‘tambourine dance’ which originates from North-West China. The dance was delicate and graceful, leaving the rest of the year group in awe. Watch a snippet of the performance here.

Finally, the whole school enjoyed a phenomenal dragon dance display. It was an experience the girls will never forget.
