Changemakers’ Hanukkah Assembly
To celebrate the Jewish festival of Hanukkah, the Year 5 and 6 Changemakers presented an assembly to KS2.
The girls have been working on this during break and lunch times by researching and collaborating to create an informative and engaging assembly which included the history behind the festival, what activities Jewish people would traditionally do during this important time and the meaning of Hanukkah in Hebrew.
The girls worked brilliantly as a group and have been proactive throughout the start of the year.
