Upon the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II

Kensington Prep School is deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family and all those in mourning. Her Majesty’s leadership, poise, duty and warmth were an inspiration to us all.

We understand that this sad news will affect our school community in different ways. Members of our school community are welcome to contact Ms Williams, Deputy Head (DSL and Pastoral), should you wish to discuss anything.

Over the national mourning period, the School will reflect on Her Majesty’s reign, celebrate her life and show our gratitude. We wish to provide girls with the opportunity, while at school, to witness the events and ceremonies of this momentous and historical occasion. Great care will be taken to ensure that all activities are age-appropriate and treated with sensitivity.
