Guided Home Learning Big Questions
As part of our programme each week girls are set a theme to independently explore.
Our comprehensive online guided home learning programme covers all the academic subjects as well as IT, music, sport, drama and outdoor learning. Girls enjoy online assemblies every week, story book readings and meet up with their teachers online too.
Each week as part of our programme we set a ‘Big Question’ – an independent topic theme for girls to research, explore and develop a piece of work. They can interpret the theme in any way they choose. Their work has been stunning with movies, posters, timelines, artwork with detailed research, personal reflections and illustrations which the girls have uploaded online for teachers to see.
Recent ‘big questions’ include:
- “Why does music bring so much happiness to the world?”
- “Why was the decade of the 1920s so exciting?”
