RUN 289 – new £10K fundraising target broken!
Girls' fundraising appeal is attracting absolutely amazing support.
The team of seven Year 6 girls running a ‘virtual route’ between London’s 40 acute care hospitals to raise funds for children and families struggling under lockdown has attracted amazing support – they’ve just broken their new £10,000 target. JustGiving
Their route – 289 kms in total – goes from Hillingdon Hospital and the Royal Marsden in Chelsea. They started on May 11th and fill finish on June 7th having run 1.5km each, separately, every day. Today they are on Day 19 today ‘visiting’ Northwick Park Hospital.
