A typical day

Ken Prep has up to 300 girls from ages four to eleven.

The day is structured around eight to ten lessons with a morning break at 10.10 to 10.30am and an hour’s lunch break between 12.00 to 1.30pm (staggered for different year groups). During break and lunchtime, girls get to enjoy playing in the large playground, and there are lots of outdoor activities for them to enjoy.

School assemblies, activities, events and trips

No one week is the same at Ken Prep – we have lots of themed weeks, expert visitors, workshops and trips linked to the curriculum. There are residential trips during the Spring and Summer terms for Years 4 to 6.

The whole school comes together once a week for an assembly to sing and celebrate events happening at the school and more widely. KS1 and KS2 also have separate weekly assemblies delivered by teachers and pupils.
