Author in residence
Award-winning children’s author Helen Peters is our ‘Author in Residence’. She talks and gives workshops to the girls about books, writing and illustration. Girls asked how you go about starting to write a book. Her answer: lots of research and lots of drafts. “You’re not a failure if you need to rewrite, rewrite and rewrite again” was her inspiring message to our budding writers.
