Art and Design Technology
Art and Design Technology are generously timetabled for all girls and there is also a weekly selective Art Portfolio Club for those who are particularly gifted higher up the school.
Girls have the chance to use lots of different materials (not just pencil, watercolour and oils) and have fun exploring the creativity of artists from Modigliani to Turner.
We use Design and Technology as the perfect opportunity to develop girls’ thinking skills, such as investigating ways to make a slipper, or thinking how to use cam models to demonstrate a 3D moving image.
