Our manifesto and school values underpin everything we do and are an important aspect of school life.

Our school values

  • Do your best to be your best. Don’t waste your or other people’s time.
  • Be kind and gentle. Don’t hurt anyone in any way.
  • Forgive. Don’t bear a grudge.
  • Listen. Don’t interrupt.
  • Be honest. Don’t cover up the truth.
  • Look after property. Don’t waste or damage things.

One aspect of Kensington Prep I find most compelling is the values my daughter is learning, which seem to manifest themselves in kindness to others, and a keen sensitivity to the world around her.

Our ethos

Kindness and respect for each other. 

We pull out the stops to nurture friendships and a sense of community. We want everyone to feel we are all working together as a team with the best interests of the pupils at the heart of what we do. To support this, we have an Open Door Policy so parents have the comfort of having a listening ear. 

Our school community is based on an ethos of mutual respect and consideration. We are committed to providing a safe and happy learning environment for all. We do not tolerate racial discrimination, harassment or victimisation of any kind.

All GDST schools strive to be inclusive environments in which the wellbeing of every young person comes first, and where every girl – no matter her background – can learn without limits.
