Year 6 Production – ‘Oliver Jr’

Please, sir… we want some more!” And after the Year 6 performances of ‘Oliver Jr’, we really do.

Over the last term, the school hall was transformed into the bustling streets of Victorian London, echoing with the sound of singing, laughter, and the occasional missed cue – each moment adding to the magic of live theatre. But beyond the spotlight, a deeper journey was unfolding. Through weeks of rehearsals, our students grew in confidence, found their voices, and built lasting connections with one another.

Whether portraying an orphan yearning for ‘Food, Glorious Food’, a pickpocket belting out ‘I’d Do Anything’, or reflecting on life like Fagin in Reviewing the Situation, each performer stepped into their role with heart and conviction.

Pupils, staff, family and friends were amazed by their incredible portrayal of this classic tale. Well done, Year 6!
