Sports Assembly with Manuela Zinsberger
We were thrilled to welcome Manuela Zinsberger to Ken Prep to talk to our KS1 and KS2 girls! Manuela is an Austrian International goalkeeper who currently plays for Arsenal.
She shared her incredible journey in professional Football, inspiring the girls with stories of hard work, determination and passion. Manuela took the time to answer many of their questions, offering an insight into life as a professional athlete.
It was a fantastic opportunity for the girls to learn from an incredible sportswoman!

We are very excited to announce that one of the best female football goalkeepers, Manuela Zinsberger, visited our school to talk about Football.
Manuela Zinsberger is the goalkeeper for Arsenal Women’s Football Club and for the national Austrian team. She has nine clean sheets for the 2023/24 season and has 67 clean sheets in her whole career – this means that she has saved all the goals that have come her way and that the opposition team haven’t scored in that game. She has received four honours in her whole career. An honour is a trophy or a medal that represents an achievement.
We are very grateful to have this experience and we feel extremely lucky. A big thank you to the amazing PE team and Ken Prep Parents who helped to make this happen.
We noticed during the assembly that:
- She is an incredible goalie.
- She has played football since she was six years old.
- She had a dream to be a footballer.
- She played six years for Arsenal and is still playing.
- She moved out of her family’s house when she was 18 years old.
- She played for Bayern Munich for five years.
- She has been playing goalkeeper since nine years old.
