Year 3 Trip to Narnia
Year 3 had a truly magical start to the school year, as the girls stepped through a magical wardrobe and into snowy Narnia.
Last Friday, the girls in Year 3 wrapped up warmly in their winter coats and set off on a journey to Narnia.
No sooner than they had arrived, Lucy Pevensey herself stepped into the wardrobe and discovered Narnia. Shortly after that, Mr Tumnus came walking through the woods and Year 3 girls were able to observe their meeting before following them to Mr Tumnus’ cave where they had tea together and Mr Tumnus told Lucy all about Narnia and the White Witch.
The experience was a magical introduction to the text the girls will be studying this term – ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’.
