During our recent STEAM Week, we immersed our pupils in the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This year we focused on the theme of 'time'.
STEAM subjects play a pivotal role in equipping our pupils with essential skills for the future, and it was wonderful to see so many pupils engaging with the various activities on offer.
Throughout the week, our pupils had the chance to participate in a wide range of workshops, talks and classroom-based activities. Highlights included visits from The Code Show, forensics workshops with the Metropolitan Police, robotics workshops, science lessons taught by Year 6, the whole school collaborative art project and an inter-house STEAM quiz.
Guest speakers and parents shared their STEAM experiences and career journeys. Thanks to our parent volunteers for their support this week in giving up their time to share with the girls.
STEAM Week was both inspiring for our pupils and provided a great opportunity to understand the importance of STEAM subjects and to introduce them to a range of exciting careers. By fostering this enthusiasm and curiosity from a young age, we hope our pupils feel confident to pursue careers in any field they choose.
