Amazing pianist Derek Paravicini
You will be amazed by Derek's talents. He is blind, an autistic savant and a phenomenal pianist who was our guest in Assembly and in music workshops. Do watch our videos.
A school highlight was the performance last week by Derek Paravicini with his carer and piano teacher, Adam Ockelford. Derek has perfect pitch, can play a musical piece after only hearing it once, and can play musical requests from classical to pop, all from memory.

Derek is a master of improvisation and created our very own “Kensington Prep Blues” out of four randomly selected notes from girls. Astounding!
