Christmas Drama
The girls have put on amazing productions despite the limitations on their usual performances to parents in our hall.
Three year groups have worked wonders performing productions with a Christmas theme.
Year 4 worked really hard on their version of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The performing arts bubbles were split into smaller groups and were each given a section of the play to learn and self-direct. The reviewed their scenes each week and acted on feedback given to them and the end result is fantastic. They worked incredibly hard and really made the end of term a festive treat.
Year 3 were directed in their Christmas performance retelling the famous story of The Grinch. Each performance bubble were in charge of a section of the play and the girls got to experience a real ensemble style of directing and performance. The work is beautifully festive and cheering!
Year 5, within their performing arts bubbles, were in charge of a section of the famous poem ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ and were entirely in charge of the process. Everything they have created is of their own making and the quality speaks for itself!
