There’s no denying that Ken Prep, nestled in leafy Fulham, produces fantastic results – 38 scholarships were won last year to the likes of St Paul’s Girls’, City of London Girls and Wycombe Abbey. But this is certainly no hothouse: as one parent puts it, “The success is a result of innovative teaching rather than pressure on the girls to succeed.” The school boasts incredible facilities including a new library jam-packed with no fewer than 10,000 books and a new souped-up playground is on the horizon. Netball remains a real strength, an impressive 97% of pupils learn a musical instrument and there are more than 55 clubs on offer ranging from Magic Maths to Bollywood dancing. Every year the kind Ken Prep girls fundraise tirelessly for their chosen charities and help to support two girls overseas through Plan International UK and during this years Coronavirus crisis they donated vital supplies to Fulham Food Bank.
