Girls' have completed their 289km run - the virtual route between London's 40 acute care hospitals and raised over £15,000 for families struggling under lockdown.
Girls’ appeal raises over £15,000!
The team of seven Year 6 girls Apolline, Clara, Emily, Freya, Imogen, Lilly and Maya have finally completed their 289km virtual run between London’s 40 hospitals having run 1.5km each for 28 consecutive days. Their amazing effort has raised over £15,000 for families struggling under lockdown and attracted lots of media attention including the Evening Standard, BBC Radio London, the Week Junior magazine and the Express newspaper. They came together for their last destination – the Royal Brompton Hospital in Chelsea. Very done well girls we are so proud of you.
