URGENT MEDICAL NOTICE
I am very sorry to have to inform you that a member of staff has been admitted to hospital with probable Meningococcal Disease.
I have attached a letter – click – below - from the North West London Health Protection Agency with further details. It is important to ensure you are aware of the signs and symptoms of the disease and if your child becomes ill with any of these symptoms, you should seek urgent medical attention.
The North West London Health Protection Agency informs us that although Meningococcal Disease is serious, it is relatively rare and the risk of another member of staff or a pupil acquiring this disease at the school is small. NO TREATMENT IS REQUIRED FOR STAFF OR PUPILS attending the school.
The school will remain open tomorrow as usual.
