Innovation accolade
We’re delighted The Week magazine has just awarded Kensington Prep the accolade ‘Best School for Innovation’ in their Independent Schools Guide.
The Week Schools Guide wrote:
Kensington Prep is a busy place. Set in spacious grounds off London’s Fulham road, this all-girls’ school prides itself on encouraging independence, individuality and “questioning thinkers” among it’s four to 11 -year-olds. One of its latest innovations is the Explore Floor, a vast high-tech learning space with large screens, movable furniture, a multimedia recording studio and bags of space for the girls to immerse themselves in exciting ventures. These include the annual Year 6 entrepreneurial project, which challenges the girls to design, produce, market and sell a product of their own. The space can even be transformed into a rainforest in St Lucia or the Thames riverside at the flick of a switch. No wonder other schools are queuing up to visit.
